La Senda Litoral en Motril es un proyecto para crear un corredor verde a lo largo de la costa, conectando diferentes playas y núcleos urbanos, y promoviendo el turismo sostenible y la movilidad peatonal y ciclista. El proyecto forma parte de un plan más amplio para mejorar la franja litoral de Motril, incluyendo la creación de zonas verdes, equipamientos turísticos y la mejora del acceso a las playas.
La Senda Litoral busca unir diferentes playas y núcleos urbanos de Motril, como Playa Poniente, Playa Granada y Santa Adela, a través de un camino peatonal y ciclista.
El proyecto se enfoca en la movilidad sostenible, potenciando el uso de la senda para peatones y ciclistas. La Senda Litoral se conectará con otros tramos de la costa, como el que une Salobreña con Torrenueva, creando un recorrido más amplio.
Se están realizando trabajos para ajardinar y revegetar la zona, incluyendo la plantación de especies autóctonas, con el objetivo de crear un entorno más verde y sostenible.
La senda incluirá zonas de esparcimiento infantil y deportivo, miradores y otros equipamientos para mejorar la experiencia de los usuarios.
