This Corps of Engineers benchmark is located in Barcelona, New York on the north-east corner of the Daniel Reed Memorial Pier overlooking Lake Erie.

The benchmark was placed in 1974 and its data sheet notes being discovered by Geocachers twice:

"STATION RECOVERY (2006)
NC0864'RECOVERY NOTE BY GEOCACHING 2006 (RLM)
NC0864'RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION.

STATION RECOVERY (2007)

NC0864'RECOVERY NOTE BY GEOCACHING 2007 (ACM)
NC0864'RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION."

Since then however the mark has been damaged, with a large scuff on one side and also being half covered in concrete.
Condition: Mark found in poor condition
