Ce grand parc rectangulaire se trouve sur le boulevard LaSalle dans l'arrondissement de Verdun à Montréal, Québec.

Selon l'inscription sur le panneau du parc, ce parc a été nommé Woodland (Boisé) en raison d'un boisé qui s'est trouvé jadis à cet endroit.

Le parc Woodland est un lieu privilégié pour se détendre, jouer au tennis et jardiner. En effet, du côté ouest du parc (boulevard LaSalle), on y retrouve le Club de tennis Woodland, tandis que du côté est du parc (berge du fleuve Saint-Laurent), on retrouve le jardin de la Société d'horticulture les pouces verts de Verdun, ainsi que des pistes cyclables.


Verdun est un quartier et arrondissement de la ville de Montréal au Québec. Il est situé sur la rive sud-ouest de l'île de Montréal et borde le fleuve Saint-Laurent, en aval des rapides de Lachine. Verdun est délimité au nord par l'autoroute 15 et le pont Samuel-De Champlain, à l'ouest par le canal de l'Aqueduc et au sud-ouest par l’arrondissement de LaSalle, englobant au passage l'Île des Sœurs. Sa population est de 70 377 habitants en 2021.

This large rectangular park is located on LaSalle Boulevard in the Verdun borough of Montreal, Quebec.

According to the inscription on the park sign, this park was named Woodland (Boisé) after a wooded area that once stood on this site.

Woodland Park is a great place to relax, play tennis, and garden. On the west side of the park (LaSalle Boulevard) is the Woodland Tennis Club, while on the east side (along the St. Lawrence River) is the Verdun Green Thumbs Horticultural Society's garden, as well as bike paths.

Verdun is a neighborhood and borough of the city of Montreal, Quebec. It is located on the southwest shore of the Island of Montreal and borders the St. Lawrence River, downstream from the Lachine Rapids. Verdun is bordered to the north by Highway 15 and the Samuel De Champlain Bridge, to the west by the Aqueduct Canal, and to the southwest by the borough of LaSalle, which also includes Nuns' Island. Its population was 70,377 in 2021.
