The year 2024 marked the 75th anniversary of the Supreme Electoral Court of Costa Rica (TSE for short). Established in 1949, its purpose is to organize elections and assure the integrity of their results. The neoclassical monument is located in a small plaza just outside of the Supreme Electoral Court’s building in San Jose. Among other things, it features a pink granite sculpture entitled the Epitome of Flight by Costa Rican artist José Sancho Benito.
