EN: The church of St. Peter and Paul stands in the center of the village of Erschwil, separated from the main street by a creek.
The neoclassical building was built in 1847 and replaced a smaller church from the 13th century.
The clock is located on the church tower, which stands on the north side of the nave. The clock face has a diameter of around 80 centimetres. It has a red center and golden Roman numerals on a black background around the edge. The simple hands are also golden.
DE: Die Kirche St. Peter und Paul steht, durch einen Bach von der Hauptstrasse getrennt, im Dorfzentrum von Erschwil.
Das klassizistische Gebäude wurde 1847 gebaut und ersetzte eine kleinere Kirche aus dem 13. Jahrhundert.
Die Uhr befindet sich am Kirchturm, der an der Nordseite des Langhauses steht. Das Zifferblatt hat eine Durchmesser von rund 80 Zentimetern. Es hat ein rotes Zentrum, am Rand befinden sich goldene römische Zahlen auf schwarzem Hintergrund. Die schlichten Zeiger sind auch golden.
