The Casibari and Ayo rock formations are popular tour stops on the Island of Aruba. Though little more than large piles of boulders, they are nevertheless interesting in that it is not entirely known how they were formed. They have also made frequent appearances on the postage stamps of the small island nation, usually in conjunction with the promotion of tourism.

In 1993, Aruba issued a set of three postage stamps showing scenes from both the Ayo and Casibari formations. This particular stamp shows a large split boulder at the Casibari site.
