This square-built cairn resembling a standing man, can be found on the summit area, but not on the actual summit, of Corwharn, a hill amongst the heathery moorlands of the Grampians in the county of Angus, situated on the watershed between Glen Isla to the west, and Glen Prosen to the east.

Corwharn hovers about the 2,000 feet mark in height, with recent evaluations of the summit putting it just below the mountain status of that mark. The summit is an undetermined spot amongst peaty moorland, crossed by a fence, but just to the east on the 600 metre, 1968 feet mark is a cairn built in a distinctive square-style of flattish slabs around six foot tall, which offers views north and eastwards towards Glen Prosen and the higher mountains.

From a distance to the east the cairn is prominent on the skyline of an otherwise area of high moorland.
