Ce petit parc se trouve sur l'avenue Papineau, situé dans l'arrondissement de Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie à Montréal, Québec.

Le parc a été nommé en l'honneur de Louis-Joseph de Saint-Véran, marquis de Montcalm (1712 - 1759), lieutenant-général et commandant en chef des forces armées françaises en Nouvelle-France. Il est mieux connu pour ses campagnes à la défense du Canada entre 1756 et 1759.

Récemment réaménagé, le parc Montcalm est une oasis de verdure où on peut se détendre et profiter des joies de l’extérieur. En plus de favoriser la biodiversité, ce parc éponge recueille les eaux de pluie en cas de fortes précipitations pour éviter les inondations.

Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie est un arrondissement de la ville de Montréal, au Québec, situé en son centre. D'une superficie de 15,9 km2, sa population est de 141 813 habitants en 2021, faisant de lui le 3e arrondissement le plus populeux de Montréal.

This small park is located on Papineau Avenue, in the Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie borough of Montreal, Quebec.

The park was named in honor of Louis-Joseph de Saint-Véran, Marquis de Montcalm (1712–1759), lieutenant-general and commander-in-chief of the French armed forces in New France. He is best known for his campaigns in defense of Canada between 1756 and 1759.

Recently redesigned, Montcalm Park is a green oasis where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors. In addition to promoting biodiversity, this sponge park collects rainwater during heavy rainfall to prevent flooding.

Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie is a borough of Montreal, Quebec, located in its center. With an area of 15.9 km2, its population was 141,813 inhabitants in 2021, making it the 3rd most populous borough in Montreal.
