"The current building is the result of a thorough renovation carried out in modern times, which considerably altered its original design. However, it still retains some Romanesque elements that allow us to imagine its past, such as a north door with a semicircular arch and a holy water font sculpted in stone, with decorative details dating back to the Visigothic period. These remains are a living testament to the ancient roots of this place of worship.

The church's floor plan features a longitudinal nave, with a raised apse that stands out for its greater height. Local materials such as granite can be seen on its façade, although much of the structure is clad, leaving only the noble areas exposed. The slate roof adds a rustic and authentic touch that blends perfectly with the Galician landscape.

Although time and renovations have erased some of its Romanesque essence, the church retains a special atmosphere. Its architectural details, the original arrow slits on the south side and its granite baptismal font with geometric decoration, are elements that They invite you to stop and admire their simple beauty."
