The Malta Maritime Museum, located in Birgu (Vittoriosa), displays an impressive collection of cannons, including the largest collection on the island. These cannons, some of them vintage, are displayed both inside the museum and on the promenade in front of the marina. The collection includes cannons from different periods and styles, some of them associated with Malta's naval history and the Order of St. John.
