The Jardim do Campo Grande is a city park built in the 50's. One of its main features is the lake. Although the park itself has been renovated and slightly changed along the years, the lake and its surroundings remain basically untouched. Part of this is precisely the rowboats rental business, which created denizens memories for generations and generations. Even the tiny office remains the same since the 60's!
The only thing which changed were the boats. They used to be made of wood and now they are plastic.
