The Salt Spring Ice Cream Shop is right by the Sanford web cam, if you're interested in that sort of thing. After you get your cam pic go in for a delicious cone or shake or sundae. There is parking on the street outside and a few tables inside. I tried something new - Dark Chocolate Pecan - and it was delicious.
