This small cemetery is north of Highway 40 - in Pocahontas, Illinois.

Sugg Cemetery was established in 1861. To reach the cemetery, turn north from Highway 40 on Union Street; you'll see a wood sign for the cemetery on the left. Proceed up the road, go left at the fork (and you are now on an unimproved road that might be risky after a rain), park at the gate, and walk to the cenetery grounds. There are about two hundred burials here. The cemetery appears to be inactive (the most recent death dates I saw were in the 1950s) but someone is mowing it every now and then.
