Sara Edström
"Sara Edström, born in 1968 in Luleå, is a Swedish artist. She has worked for many years with sculpture in concrete and bronze and has several public works in various locations in Norrbotten. Since 2006, she has run Galleri Syster in Luleå together with Anja Örn, among others. Ekström has worked as a producer for the Luleå Biennale, and the county art hall Havremagasinet in Boden, as a business developer for Konstfrämjandet in Västerbotten and has been the chairwoman of the National Association of Artists in Sweden since 2019, where she actively works for better conditions for the country's visual artists. Edström is also active as a singer and music producer under the name Mid Life Crisis Pop Songs. In 2017, she was the editor of the book Konst för alla, published by Konstfrämjandet."
