Veel is er niet over Tante Suus te vinden, wel iets over de uutgereikte Erasmus speld. De Erasmus speld wordt onder andere uitgereikt aan mensen die zich 40 jaar of langer ingezet hebben voor anderen. Maar ook gemeenteambtenaren met een dienstverband van minimaal 40 jaar krijgen deze speld. Tante Suus was dus wel bekend, maar dan op kleine schaal, bijvoorbeeld in het verenigingsleven.
There is not much information available about Aunt Suus, but there is some information about the Erasmus pin she was awarded. The Erasmus pin is awarded to people who have dedicated 40 years or more to helping others. Municipal officials with at least 40 years of service also receive this pin. Aunt Suus was well known, but only on a small scale, for example in community life.
