About the museum:
"The Groninger Museum is a museum in the city of Groningen and one of the top attractions in the province with a visitor number of approximately 200,000 visitors per year. The museum was founded in 1894. One hundred years later, in 1994, the current branch was opened. This building is considered one of the highlights in postmodernist architecture. It was designed by several architects including Coop Himmelblau, led by Alessandro Mendini. The design consists of different styles, including deconstructivism and traditional masonry, and represents the diversity of the collection, where one art form is not superior to the other. In addition to the main location, the museum also has Wall House #2 and the Menkemaborg, which are used as exhibition spaces."
