EN: The Saint-Martin church is located in the village center of Wentzwiller. The white building with corner pilaster strips made of natural stone has a polygonal chancel as the end of the nave and a not very high half-timbered church tower with two clocks and a metal rooster on the roof. There are low extensions on both sides of the chancel.

The history of the church is very sketchy. The year of construction is given by various authors as 1739, 1747, 1762 or 1765. There are plans by the architect Jean-Baptiste Chassain from 1765, but these do not correspond to the actual building and may have been an unfinished conversion or enlargement plan. There is also a theory that the church was previously a small chapel that was enlarged in the 18th century.
