The former hotel is a brick, two storey, timber framed building with a verandah founded on limestone blocks. It has 350mm thick external brick walls to the ground floor and 250mm thick external bricks to the first floor. The internal walls are single leaf brick and timber framed partition walls. The roof is pitched timber (Oregon) and is clad in corrugated iron
