"A church of notable interest that stands at one end of the village, bordering the town center on its northern side.

The hermitage has undergone various transformations over the centuries, which have disfigured its original structure, which, although still extant, has been hidden by the renovations. It is a 13th-century Mudejar work belonging to the Augustinian Order of Finibusterre until 1779, the year in which this community finally moved to the Convent of Santa Catalina in Badajoz (the convent's buildings are currently in ruins).

It has two entrance doors located on the Gospel side. The most interesting, in a Romanesque-Gothic transitional style, has two pointed archivolts and Visigothic materials reused from a nearby construction. Behind its sanctuary, on the exterior of the building, are the ruins of an early apse, and some fresco paintings are still preserved. niches of the altarpiece.

Its interior consists of three naves separated by octagonal pillars and pointed arches, with a barrel vault that in previous centuries was made of wood.

One of the most important pieces in the church is the Virgin of Finibus Terrae, a wooden work probably dating from the 14th century and later mutilated to be decorated around the 17th or 18th centuries.

Furthermore, the church has the peculiarity that inside it has a well that is accessed through a small and simple door, and in which it was formerly believed that the Virgin of Finibus had appeared within its walls."
