"A bronze statue of Mercury, the god of trade, crowns the fountain. The statue stands on a pedestal with children with fish on the corners. The pedestal stands in a bowl-shaped basin with four figures representing river gods and goddesses. The fountain originally stood on the Zaailand, but was removed in connection with its redevelopment. The artwork
was replaced at this location in 2012."
