A single-span belfry with a semicircular arch housing a single bell, ending with an iron Latin cross and weather vane.

"Built in the late 16th century and located on the street from which it takes its name, it was the chapel of the former Hospital of La Misericordia, clearly in a popular style but with certain Baroque features.

It has a single nave divided into five bays, with masonry and brick walls, a single-span bell gable, and barrel vaults with lunettes on the roof.

Inside, there is a beautiful altarpiece attributed to the Sevillian sculptor Blas de Escobar, in whose attic a relief of the Eternal Father with eight winged angel heads can still be seen.

There is no documentation on the altarpiece of this hermitage or the relief that crowns it, although according to some authors, it can be confirmed that both date from after 1659, the year in which the Christ of Mercy arrived in the municipality from the town of Villagarcía de la Torre in Badajoz."
