This wooden footbridge spans about 30’ across Boomer creek. It is fairly sturdy with no handrails and in good repair.
Hoyt Grove Park is located North of Couch Park on East 12th Avenue. The entrance is on the North side of 12th Avenue between Alcott St. and the Senior Center.
Hoyt Grove Park activities include fields for baseball or softball, take a walk, jog, or bicycle ride on the Kameoka trail, or enjoy a game of disc golf.
“The Kameoka Trail Corridor, named in honor of Stillwater's sister city, includes a three-mile loop around Boomer Lake and several disconnected segments throughout the city. The Southern portion of the Kameoka Train begins on the East side of Perkins Rd. around the bridge near E. Ninth Ave. It meanders through Hoyt Grove Park before reaching the southernmost tip of Couch Park on E. Alcott Ave. The shade trees along the trail through Hoyt Grove provides a peaceful setting for a walk, jog, or bicycle ride.”
