Kota Kinabalu (Malaysian: ['kota kina'balu]; formerly known as Jesselton), colloquially referred to as KK, is the state capital of Sabah, Malaysia. The city is located on the northwest coast of Borneo facing the South China Sea. Located on the 12th level of the Wisma Bandaraya building, this webcam looks North over the bustling Jalan Padan road. The Kinabalu port can be seen off to the wet and Kampong Gaya islands are across the water.

There are also archived time lapse videos, so you can see different parts of the day and different monsoon seasons (we are equatorial, after all).
