The Thomas County Fairgrounds is a community space that houses several events throughout the year, not the least of which is the Thomas County Fair. Most of the strutures here are large and open for the display of prize cattle and other agricultural exhibits, as well as traditional agriculture fair contest goods such as homemade pies and preserves. One of the buildings is specifically designated as the 4H Building. There is also a speedway and there are a few permanent amusement rides here.
