Crkva je smještena na brijegu i orijentirana u smjeru sjever-jug. Gradena je u 18. st., na mjestu starije kapele, ali je temeljito pregradivana u 18. i 19. st., kada je i završena. Tlocrt se sastoji od prostora pjevališta, kvadratnog broda i nešto užeg kvadratnog svetišta sa segmentnom apsidom i prigradenom sakristijom na zapadu. Iznad procelja uzdiže se zvonik. Kasnobarokna koncepcija prostora, s centraliziranim travejem broda i svetišta uklapa se u stil gradenja 1770-ih godina. U obnovi 19. st. zadržane su osnovne znacajke prostora, ali su detalji klasicisticki izvedeni. Dobro komponirane fasade, kao i izvedba detalja, govore o školovanoj radionici. (visit link)

The church is located on a hill and is oriented north-south. It was built in the 18th century, on the site of an older chapel, but was thoroughly rebuilt in the 18th and 19th centuries, when it was completed. The ground plan consists of a choir area, a square nave and a slightly narrower square sanctuary with a segmental apse and an attached sacristy to the west. A bell tower rises above the facade. The late Baroque concept of the space, with a centralized nave and sanctuary, fits into the building style of the 1770s. In the 19th century renovation, the basic features of the space were retained, but the details were executed in a classicist manner. The well-composed facades, as well as the execution of the details, speak of a trained workshop. (visit link)
