Ferris Wheel
The iconic Ferris wheel is a staple of the amusement park skyline. From 1925 to 1929, the Boardwalk provided guests with majestic views of the Monterey Bay from its first Ferris wheel. Three decades later, the Boardwalk’s second Ferris wheel was installed by the colonnade. After it was moved to the river end in the early 1980s, it thrilled guests until its last operating day in 2017. In 2024, we proudly introduced the Dream Wheel and look forward to providing guests with a unique experience for decades to come.
