The small Caribbean island of Aruba boasts a number of interesting geological features including caves, natural bridges, volcanic remnants and a couple areas of unusual rock formations. One of these areas, Casibari Rocks, was featured on a 2017 Aruban postage stamp issue showing various tourist scenes from across the island.

The Casibari and Ayo formations are boulder-strewn areas whose origins have not been definitively explained by geologists. The Casibari formation is dominated by the large boulder mound seen on the stamp. A short stairway provides access to the top which affords sweeping views of the entire island. The rock formations are also a good place to spot wildlife such as iguanas or burrowing owls which are one of the few owls active during the day.
