[FR] Les travaux restent inachevés au milieu du XIVème siècle, seules les quatre premières travées occidentales ayant été construites.
Le Grand Schisme d'Occident (fin XIVème - début XVème), puis les guerres de religion laissent le Sud de la France dans un climat politique et religieux instable. Cette période d'incertitude a des conséquences sur Malaucène qui fortifie son église : mâchicoulis à l'Ouest, casemates en façade Sud, chemin de ronde....
En 1433, des travaux sont exécutés sur les portes de la ville et sur l'église pour faire, semble-t-il (ou refaire) sur 25 mètres de long les " guachili " (ce terme peut désigner un chemin de ronde à merlons et créneaux qui devient une sorte de bretèche à mâchicoulis au dessus de la porte de l'église.)
Cet édifice construit conserve le principe des églises à nef unique, en berceau brisé, fréquentes en Provence.
Le vaisseau principal compte 5 travées délimitées par 4 puissants contreforts délimités par des chapelles ouvertes par de grandes arcades sur la nef. Le clocher est implanté sur la travée au Nord.

The Great Western Schism (late 14th - early 15th century), then the wars of religion left the South of France in an unstable political and religious climate. This period of uncertainty has consequences on Malaucène which fortifies its church: machicolations to the West, casemates on the South facade, wall walk, etc.
In 1433, work was carried out on the city gates and on the church to apparently make (or redo) 25 meters long "guachili" (this term can designate a walkway with merlons and battlements which becomes a sort of bretèche with machicolations above the church door.)
The main vessel has 5 bays delimited by 4 powerful buttresses delimited by chapels opened by large arcades on the nave. The bell tower is located on the northern span.
