On the southeast corner of the Marsh Administration Building at 291 Beckett Hill Rd, Athens, WV 24712 on the campus of Concord University is a zodiac themed sundial.
Donated by the class of 1927 and mounted on a concrete pedestal is this fairly small piece. The circular face of the clock is mounted horizontally with a small arm pointer aimed at approximately 270 degrees of arc with tick marks. The entire outer ring of the dial has the 12 astrological signs of the Western zodiac.
The area has several benches staged for a relaxing while listening to the nearby carillon.
