"La iglesia se considera una obra maestra de la arquitectura gótica tardía, aunque es un ejemplo de una edificación gótica vestida con detalles renacentistas. La iglesia es relativamente corta en longitud (105 m), pero su interior tiene 33,45 m de altura en la bóveda. En la fachada principal, la torre de la izquierda se ha completado en estilo renacentista, mientras que la torre de la derecha permanece como un muñón. La apariencia delantera y trasera contrastan notablemente, con una parte delantera clásica y relativamente sobria, y una trasera, exuberante, que integra formas góticas y una organización con detalles clásicos. La escultura L'écoute, de Henri de Miller aparece fuera de la iglesia, al sur. Una escultura de Keith Haring se encuentra en una capilla de la iglesia.

The church is considered a masterpiece of late Gothic architecture, although it is an example of a Gothic building dressed with Renaissance details. The church is relatively short in length (105 m), but its interior has a vault height of 33.45 m. On the main façade, the left tower has been completed in the Renaissance style, while the right tower remains as a stump. The front and rear appearances contrast markedly, with a relatively sober, classical front and an exuberant rear that integrates Gothic forms and organization with classical details. Henri de Miller's sculpture, L'écoute, appears outside the church, to the south. A sculpture by Keith Haring is located in a chapel of the church.

Built in a Gothic style during the Renaissance, the church exudes a harmonious architectural character where the antiquity of the Greek and Roman columns contrasts with the still-present lines of the Middle Ages. The goal was to achieve a Gothic style with semicircular arches. Therefore, the church was built in the Gothic style, with Roman curvatures and Renaissance ornamentation; all of these features together give the building a unique character.
