The Sir Winston Churchill Aquatic and Leisure Centre is operated by the City of Calgary. Located between the Nose Hill Library and the Brentwood Sportsplex in northwest Calgary, it has an indoor six-lane 25m saltwater pool, which is kept at 28°C (82°F). There is also a separate 3.65m (12 ft) deep dive tank. A small spiral waterslide empties into the dive tank. A hot tub is kept at 38-40°C.
The facility was closed for 2024 for major renovations. Changes of interest to swimmers include universal change room, accessibility improvements (including elevator for second storey, accessible shower, and accessible pool pod), updated restrooms, safety and security upgrades, and chlorination system improvements.
Other facilities at the centre include a steam room, weight room, cardio equipment (steppers, spin bikes, treadmills, etc.), and fitness studio.
