This tank was built in the 1980's. It is a one million gallon tank, supported by a single standpipe, which is enclosed in a protective housing. The entrance door is on the south side.
The grounds recently were fenced for security.
The site is 4 miles north of North Hills shopping center, and 0.35 mile south of the Strickland Road intersection. The coordinates are by NCGS, and are for the center of the tank. This structure can be logged as a benchmark (EZ6600) on geocaching.com/mark.
