E 35 RESET (CV0253) - Lovington, NM - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey Benchmark Disk is on the south side of the former Lea County State Bank, just west of the southwest corner. The data sheet coordinates are a good block off; use the waymark coordinates instead. The disk is stamped with the designation E 35 RESET and the year 1948. Looks like when they recently re-plastered this wall they took care to keep the mark visible.
