Veterans Memorial Park - Pecos, TX - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

This municipal park is devoted to veterans memorials and other displays; there is no "play" equipment here at all. There are three veterans memorials, a bell, and a P-80 Shooting Star on an elevated stand. There is plenty of parking aruond the park, and enough room to stretch your legs and walk the dog as you admire the various exhibits. And if traditional park fun is what you (and the dog) desire, just north (and adjoining this park) are Maxey Park and Maxey Bark Park, and a bit further on is a splash pad for the kids.
