Sabine County Courthouse - Hemphill, TX - Photos Then and Now on Waymarking.com

This photo of the Sabine County Courthouse, constructed in 1908, gives a year of 1939; the source web site is here and they credit TXDOT for the photo. The photo was taken from the northwest corner of the Courthouse Square, so the waymark coordiantes are at that corner. The appearance of the courthouse has not changed all that much over the intervening years; the main difference is that there is now a pretty good sized tree just south of the stairs. There is plenty of parking all around the Courthouse Square, and plenty to see here so it is worth a half hour stroll.
