Located between Turkey Creek and Frank Phillips Blvd. (US Hwy 60) in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, twin markers erected in a park-like setting locate the original place of the first Bartlesville Post Office and the original Turkey Creek Store from 1879.

The original concrete monument faces west, and a newer granite monument on the reverse side faces east.

To reach the monuments, turn south at the intersection of Frank Phillips Blvd. and E 4th St. Go south towards the Dollar General. The easiest parking is in the Dollar General parking lot. (There is not any easy parking in the apartment complex.) Walk a little ways east down 4th St. and there will be a gravel path that takes you to the markers.

Of some historical interest is some various old oilfield equipment (cables, rods, etc.) that can be seen along this short walking path.
