About Rianne te Kaat, the artist:
"My name is Rianne te Kaat, born in 1993. I have always had a passion for drawing and painting. In addition to this passion, I also love entrepreneurship itself. I was able to realize my dream as a street artist.
Engineer and project manager
In 2014 I completed my Industrial Product Design studies at the Arnhem and Nijmegen University of Applied Sciences. I then worked for about 5 years as a product developer and project manager at a secondment agency. During those five years I worked for companies such as Philips, Auping and Goliath Games. During these years I have learned so much about business and project-based work.
START my business
In the summer of 2017 I was introduced to 3D street painting for the first time. I liked this so much that I started my own company as an artist on July 17, 2017: 'Rianne te Kaat'. Since then I have been able to make several street paintings throughout the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. I hope to add many more countries to this list!
DRIVING SPRING
I keep challenging myself again and again, because I think it is important to keep growing. I don't shy away from constantly teaching myself new things. Think of new assignments, techniques, materials or events. My time as an engineer has also given me a glimpse into the business world, which will certainly benefit my way of working.
Working as an artist gives so much energy. It's fantastic to see that others enjoy my work.
In addition, I also find personal contact with customers very important, which is informal and accessible"
