Daniel P. Stephens lived but forty nine years. This did not prevent him from siring at least nine children! His Woodmen of the World monument is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut branches, set on a square concrete base, and just within a rectangular concrete curb. This monument is adorned with the Three Tools of the Woodmen (wedge, mallet, and axe) and also featuers a Dove of Peace. The Woodmen seal has an unusual placement; it is below the name and dates of birth and death. The inscription is:

DANIEL P.
STEPHENS
MAY 29, 1862
MAR 31, 1912
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
