This maze is amongst the ruins of Beijing's Old Summer Palace, the only palace in Beijing that was of a european rather than chinese style. The palace was destroyed during the Opium Wars by the French and English, and never rebuilt.
You'll walk through the park to get to the ruins. It's quite a hike though the park from the main entrance, but it's quite beautiful.
Students with a student ID can access the maze for 5 RNB.
