Located in Veterans Memorial Park at John F Kennedy Dr, Bay City, MI 48706 is this Vietnam Veterans Memorial. It is a Vietnam era medivac helicopter UH-1H elevated atop a pole as you enter the park. The army chopper is in good shape and can be walked under for excellent viewing.
The UH-1H is part of the Operation Dustoff Memorial, a tribute to the crews who flew close to 500,000 missions during the Vietnam War, not only bringing the injured back to base but providing life saving care on the way.
