Kincardine O'Neil is situated in Deeside in the Scottish county of Aberdeenshire and is the oldest village in the area. The Kincardine O'Neil Sports Club was formed in 1929, and consisted of a bowling green, tennis court, and putting green at the western end of the village on the south side of the A93 road that runs through the centre of the village.
Only the bowling green survives with its distinctive green wooden clubhouse on the northern side of the green separating it from the road. The club still survives despite a declining membership, and the season runs from April to September. A key for the clubhouse is available during the day from the nearby filling station.
