The major Flood of 16 March 1978 on the Manning River on the MidNorth Coast of NSW brought much devastation. This was almost equaled by the Flood of 2021. While I was not in the Manning Valley for the 1978 flood I was for the 2021 flood, which came within 30cm of entering the nearby Coles Supermarket and Wingham Plaza shopping centre, thoroughly flooding by metres the Cellarbrations store over the road from these signs.
