Cette ancienne église catholique romaine est située sur la rue Sauvé Est dans l'arrondissement d'Ahuntsic-Cartierville à Montréal, Québec.

La paroisse Saint-Charles-Garnier a été érigée canoniquement le 8 juin 1951.

L’église a été construite en 1953-1954, par la compagnie Lavigueur Ltée, selon les plans des architectes Duplessis, Labelle et Derome.

La paroisse a été supprimée le 8 mars 2010. Son territoire a été rattaché à la paroisse Saint-Paul-de-la-Croix.

Suite à la suppression de la paroisse, l'église a été vendue à la communauté bulgare de Montréal, et l'église Saint Charles-Garnier est devenue St Ivan Rilski Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

Ahuntsic-Cartierville est un des dix-neuf arrondissements urbains de la ville de Montréal. Situé au nord de l’île de Montréal, sur les rives de la rivière des Prairies, il a une superficie de 23 km2 et une population de 126 891 personnes (2011).

This former Roman Catholic church is located on Sauvé Street East in the Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough of Montreal, Quebec.

The Saint-Charles-Garnier parish was canonically erected on June 8, 1951.

The church was built in 1953-1954, according to the plans of the architects Duplessis, Labelle and Derome, by the company Lavigueur Ltée.

The parish was abolished on March 8, 2010. Its territory was attached to the Saint-Paul-de-la-Croix parish.

Following the abolition of the parish, the church was sold to the Bulgarian community of Montreal, and the Saint Charles-Garnier church became St Ivan Rilski Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

Ahuntsic-Cartierville is one of the nineteen urban boroughs of the city of Montreal. Located in the north of the island of Montreal, on the banks of the Rivière des Prairies, it has an area of ??23 km2 and a population of 126,891 people (2011).
