The capital of Turkmenistan - Ashgabat - it's well known by its extravagance and it has a few records the the Guiness Book, like the most use of white marble. These Googie bus stops can be incorporated in the list of oddities.

Bus stops have been futuristic in many aspects in Ashgabats, but this last generation beats it all. They have air conditioning and TV, plus comfortable seating. Like a modern home. And on top of that, this Googie look. This particular one is truly the latest of the latest generation and it is located in front of a modern hotel.
