"Nuesta iglesia se debió construir en el síglo xvi, cuando se volvió a repoblar el pueblo, y fue objeto de una gran reforma en 1673, según indica una inscripción en dos arcos de la iglesia, fue remodelada a principios de los 60 porque se hundió la torre antigua, se recortó la iglesia y se construyó el actual campanario".

"Edificio de buen trazado y bastante bien conservado en lo que queda. La espadaña se ha rehecho de ladrillo. En el interior planta de cruz latina con pilastras hacia el interior. Cubierta con bóvedas de lunetos y en el centro del transepto cúpula de media naranja sobre pechinas."
