Mowana Safari Resort & Spa was named after a baobab (mowana means baobab in the tswana language). The luxury resort was built around a majestic 800-year-old baobab specimen.
During our 3 night stay at this resort we did two game drives in Chobe National Park and two boat cruises on the Chobe River. We saw elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, rhinos, warthogs, jackals, baboons, vervet monkeys, impalas, kudus, sables, mongooses and many birds.
