The current stadium was redesigned and finished in 2009. It officially changed from Lewis field to Boone Pickens Stadium in 2003. Picked has donated over 165 million to the OSU Athletic department for this stadium and other sports venues at OSU. This is the largest single donation to athletics for an institute of higher education in American history. The newly renovated stadium was rededicated on Sept 5, 2009.
