Press clipping from January 24, 2015:
"Among the achievements as an architect that Manuel Montesinos lovingly distributed in Castellón and in various places in the province, there is the singularity of the beautiful church of the Trinity, which one day in these hundred years of age, marks its first centenary.

The church of the Holy Trinity, one hundred years old, is an example of someone who deserved the title of historicist architect, that is, someone who can explain human works and achievements from a historical perspective. Everyone knows how decisive Don Juan Cardona Vives, curiously two hundred years old now, was in those and other works. The first stone was laid in 1894, when the Cardona family had already committed to financing it. Located in a dryland area on the outer limits of the city, not far from where Castellón was also able to enjoy the Provincial Hospital and the bullring itself, works also directed by Montesinos, as well as the grandiose Pious Schools. The execution of the church lasted twenty-one years and the pontifical blessing took place on January 27, 1916.

From the beginning it was talked about in an admiring way and with definitions of its style: Gothic, Byzantine, undoubtedly Romanesque. The main façade has always dressed up the Plaza de las Escuelas Pías and there is another entrance door to the temple on Menéndez y Pelayo street. Its bell tower, airy and elegant, and the rose window on the façade, are elements that have endured over time in the admiration of the people of Castellón; especially those who have it as their parish church: births and baptisms, weddings,..."
