O inmoble é hoxe sede da " Casa Galega da Cultura " e da " Fundación Penzol Foi restaurado hai poucos anos ."
eng: "The building, with facades to the squares of the Constitution and Princess, occupies the site of an older town hall that burned down in 1851. Work began in late 1860 and was completed in June 1862. The facades incorporate an initial eclecticism of austere and sober formulation , which carefully combines elements of the classicist tradition, without being able to completely free itself from the academic norm. In each plant it maintains the same compositional scheme with plinth, pilasters and false entablature, although with the ornamentation each plant is different, especially the first one that welcomes the balcony of the mayorship. The property is now home to the "Galician House of Culture" and the "Penzol Foundation. It was restored a few years ago."
