From the junction of Forest Roads 923 and 923.LA at N43 43.960 W104 51.570, the benchmark is located about 360 feet away at a bearing of 247 degrees. It is a brass cap on a steel pipe; a 4x4 wooden witness post stands about 6 feet to the southeast of the benchmark. Reference mark 1 was recovered and has been posted as a separate Waymark, but the cap for reference mark 2 appears to have been removed - only the bent-over steel pipe for RM 2 remains to the west of the benchmark.
